Love this place. Having recently moved into the neighbourhood, I decided to give this joint a try for a Sunday brunch. The coffee (latté) is excellent, Monmouth quality. I had the ham, cheese and tomato panini, which came pre sliced into bite sized pieces. Nice touch! The strawberry smoothie was also quite excellent!

Oh, and free wifi, of course.

    My new local.

Am a regular for a nice and quick breakfast of good taste with perfect coffee on weekends. It's got nice and friendly stuff, you can get organic things in their little shop, the croissants are good and serve the French in the area....

I agree with the previous reviewer, these two cafes are really lovely and the staff is always friendly.
It's good for a snack as for a coffee or slice of cake.

Even if the place is small they are able to provide you with a large selection.

Despite imagining that I've probably found my breakfast happy place in Garufa across the road from here, I still think I should give every place a go at impressing me.

So as I was passing here with a bit of a croissant-hunger on, I thought I'd stop and have a look. And well, it was okay. Nothing special. A bit of an odd arrangement - as it's attempting to be a deli as well as a cafe, you have to pick up your plate to get your croissant after you pay for it. But you get no knife or butter of course, you've got to go back up to the counter for that. Then they'll give you another, warmer, plate. Then you'll have to buy a pot of jam.

The coffee was okay, nothing special. They played Heart FM (gut-wrenchingly so) and one of my chair legs kept falling into a half-fallen floorboard. Well, I guess I didn't really enjoy it that much, and was pining for a little dulce de leche love as I left.

Really lovely neighborhood cafe -- two locations on the same road, only about ten minutes apart.  I discovered this spot while in my temporary sublet  when I first moved to London last month. I had been looking for a coffee shop with free wifi when I needed to work from home and this place fit the bill perfectly.  For a small place, it has a surprisingly expansive menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and baked goods, along with several shelves of carefully-chosen grocery items for sale. They make a nice chai latte (though once I ordered a chai and got a regular latte). and every drink comes with a delicious chocolate-filled cookie.
